A mission of providing help to children, youth, and their families
Welcome to the homepage of Saint Francis & Saint Vincent Homes! As an agency of Catholic Social Services in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, we have a proud tradition serving the needs of children and youth for over 165 years. Providing quality and compassionate care to pre-adolescents and teenagers, we offer residential and educational programs, case management, and both in-patient and outpatient clinical services for dependent and delinquent youth.
Saint Francis & Saint Vincent Homes (SF&SV) utilizes the research-based Sanctuary Model of trauma-informed care in our treatment approach with our clients. We are faith-based, mission driven and outcomes oriented. Our core values inspire us to promote the dignity and integral well-being of our clients and to strive for excellence in all we do.
Residential Programs
Our residential services consist of five group homes for teenage boys, one for teenage girls, and a Structured Supervised Independent Living (SSIL) program.
We provide residential care for youth ages 12 through 20, with the capacity to serve up to 69 males and 40 females at any given time. While in our care, residents receive a full range of services in a safe, supportive and structured environment. Our highly trained, licensed and experienced staff develop individualized treatment plans that focus on life skills and educational achievement designed to guide youth toward healthy and successful futures.

Educational Programs
St. Katharine Drexel School is an affirming and diverse learning environment offering individualized instruction to students challenged by various learning limitations and/or emotional difficulties. Skilled administrators and experienced faculty provide a consistent and structured setting that promotes creativity and fosters positive change in the life of each student.
Located on our main campus, this unique academic program is an ideal alternative to traditional school settings for youth with particular academic deficits and emotional/behavioral challenges. While at Saint Katherine Drexel all students earn credits toward their high school graduation requirements. The curriculum and support services prepare both SF&SV residents and non-residential day students to transition back to their neighborhood school with the enhanced skills and improved attitude necessary to achieve their high school diploma.
Clinical Programs
(Residential & Out-Patient)
We offer a full range of clinical assessment and therapeutic treatment options:
